Ok,

I've been away for so long.

But I've been busy, both with my photographic activity, and my Phd studies.

And my bands too.

So,

now I'm back.





Soooo many things happened...

first:

I'm really working with photography now.

I uploaded lot of pictures from a summer I spent around Dolomiti, northern Italy....
It was 2001 and all those pics were on slides.

I was in love, deeply, with "The Lord of the Ring" saga....

This last period has been full of work and hard, but good things finally came.

I spent some days in Napoli, with my Ninja and my Nikon Fm2, all manual, back to analogic.

There I saw this Vespa, and it gave me hopes for the uncertain future of my country, in the hands of people's intelligence...

Will we defeat the mediatic power of Mister Bold Dwarf? :)

We will defeat emptyness of a right wing no-ideals?

Will Italian left partys recognize human nature, human relationship and not just human material needs?

Will this catholicesism overpower stop?

I hope,

in spring.

Spring brings love.

Love brings irrationality.

Irrationality brings ideas.....

...and real human nature.

Back to the pics I added, around Napoli and seaside:

Spring was giving us her first blow of warm breeze...and I tried to catch it with my dia-positive film and my dia-POSITIVE attitude! :)

....so I hope that time will cut that rope that links that boat to the shore.....

...and the boat will flow freely, finally, away from its home...

...away from safe life, but open to many news....

With curious eyes, just like these ones, I were wondering around in Stockholm.

I arrived there at 15,30, and it was already night...that night that hug northern landscapes and cities during cold winters....



When the mornig came, I found out how beautiful was that modern city.
And I found out how I would like to live there.

Now that my feet are here again, I could remember every seconds I spent there, any smell I breath, every noise I heard and listened to.
With Hakan Hellstrom and Kent in my stereo I think about north....



...and north comes to my mind.

Anyway, these last days in Italy I found out I love my country too, even with its BIG problems. (ok, North has its problems too).

End of 2005 and beginning of 2006 has perhaps been the best time of the year.


Incredible.

I did everything: both work and rest.

(Yessss, usually I do a weird mix of beeing-busy-doing-a-lot-of-nothing and hard-stressing-not-paid-work....)

Instead during this last period I did everything in the right way:

I rested and relaxed, and I should thanx (or damn) the bad weather conditions for this,
but I also worked . And I've been even paid for that!

Wow .

And the best stuff has yet to come:

just 2 days and my feet will walk over snow at 2000 km north from here with beloved hands in mine and 10 degrees below.

Other news

I bought a Canon 50mm 1.4
I did pictures for a big Agency, AM Newton 21, for an advertising campaign for next spring's election

And I went to the sea, finally, to breath it in.

With Ninja, that took lovely pics...

These days are running fast. Maybe because I'm doing a lot of things.
And with the perspective of a travel to the north, finally, I can run wearing even a bigger smile that my common one.

I will go to Stockholm in January, to spend some important days, and to stock loads of images.

This is one of the biggest news.

I'm working a lot.
I'm travelling around Italy (as you may find out watching the pics in this site)

and I'm doing my studies in Vico's lake...

I found a new friend.




I met him during my snails sampling at Vico's lake, near Viterbo.

Yes, I'm sampling snails again, even if my thesis was done 1 years ago and I finished University and I took my degree...

why still sampling snails?

BECAUSE I'M IN A PHD AT MY UNIVERSITY!

;)

This is the best new.

I will not be paid for that, is without rent...

for the moment.

But I have the chance to travel, and learn, and study...
so I do it with passion.

I have a lot of new finnish friends too.

Deep insight, by the way.

I travelled a little these days, thanks to The Gaia Corporation, my band.

So I took a lot of pictures.

And thanks to a woman, a beautiful one, I travelled again, and i took more pictures.
